1) Situation 1 – pending COVID-19 test results but completed 14 day home quarantine.
What to do?
On 15th day, asymptomatic or symptomatic staff to attend in ER for clinical evaluation.
If staff is symptomatic, ER doctor to manage as per the clinical presentation.
2) Situation 2 – one COVID-19 test result is negative and completed 14 day home quarantine.
What to do?
Asymptomatic or symptomatic staff to attend in ER for clinical evaluation.
3) Situation 3 – two negative COVID-19 test results but 14 day home quarantine not completed.
What to do?
For asymptomatic staff to resume work; monitor health for 14 days from
last day of possible contact and ER evaluation is no longer required.
For symptomatic staff to attend in ER for further clinical evaluation.
Always wear a mask, universal precautions.
You have to have faith your training will protect you yet if patient is positive full gear, N95. If you have decided you are still working as a nurse there and many have left; find the place in your heart to calm down, question everything anything you feel is not right and protectonic your self, your family,patients . I am off now in quarantine, tested Neg and still out due to a very resistant pneumonia?
