Thank you Theresa Brown

I had posted here, but then when I became aware through an email that a reporter was reading along, I became fearful that my employer would find out I had written about my work - even though I never named the employer- and I deleted my posts.

Thank you for today’s NYT piece, Theresa Brown. Thank you so much.

Hi Dolores,
You are very welcome. I know how stressful it can be to speak up, especially when hospitals are being clear about the risks of termination for whistle blowers. If you feel comfortable posting on the site again we would welcome your contribution.
All my best,
Theresa

Hi Delores:

First, let me assure you and everyone else that there is NOT a reporter reading along. We had a request from a reporter to do that, which we denied. Instead, I emailed everyone (including you, Delores) who had joined the conversation to ask: 1) would they we willing to have a reporter see what they had written and 2) were they interested in being interviewed by the reporter.

If a nurse gave me the OK, I shared with the reporter that nurse's comments and ONLY that nurse's comments. If I did not get express written permission from a nurse, I did not share anything s/he wrote on the Wiki.

So, Delores, I hope you will rest assured that your anonymity is safe here on the forum. We have never and will never give a reporter permission to "read along."
