RN

RN'S need to be in charge of our nursing practices to include identifying our personal safety needs. In our clinic, nurses are being ignored by non-medical administration which has left everyone, to include patients, vulnerable. Despite the constant interference, the RN staff is doing our best to maintain proper infection control and follow ever changing CDC guidelines.

Hi Gena:

Thanks for joining our conversation and sharing your experience. What needs to change to ensure nurses are in charge? What ideas do you have for making that happen?

two-way communication is critical, understanding and presence is another. actions and words need to coexist, now more than ever cohesion is important despite the situational oxymoron with COVID-19 & distancing
